Pear Conference is one of the most popular pears in Europe. It was obtained in the middle of the 1800's by the hereditary English breeder Thomas Francis Rivers. In 1885, the fruit was presented at the National British Pearl Conference in London. He liked that he received not only the first prize, but also the name - "Conference".

The conference is an autumn cultivar. Pears ripen at the end of September.
Fruit grows annually to 45 years old. Prosperous in Europe, Ukraine, Belarus.
