Pear Bruce Bosque - the most popular pear variety, the popular name of Bera.
It is distinguished by very large fruit with high commodity and taste characteristics. Fruits are large, weighing 150-220 g, with high, elongated-pear-shaped. The skin is thin, yellowish-brown color. The flesh is white or creamy shade, oily consistency, soft, melting, very juicy and sweet, fragrant, with almond flavor.
Mature fruits from 5 to 15 September, before consumption is suitable immediately. Lighten the average 20-30 days. Fruits are transportable, tied in pairs and triples, but firmly held on a tree and even during ripening they do not fall off, ripen at the same time.
Under the soil conditions, the tree is not very important, grows well and fructifies with sufficient irrigation on the lungs by the mechanical composition of soils.
Winter hardiness is higher than average. The variety is resistant to major diseases, is weakly affected by scab.
